About the event
Join us for our bi-annual Blue Hole Star Party hosted at Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley, TX! Hosted in collaboration with the Wimberley Valley Dark Sky Committee, and the Wimberley Parks & Recreation Department, the Astronomy Club at Texas State takes telescopes for viewing.
At the beginning of the event, members from the Wimberley Valley Dark Sky Committee give a guided sky-tour for attendees before breaking for telescope viewing. For optimal stargazing, feel free to bring a blanket or chairs to take in the night-sky. Viewing will be held at the Blue Hole Regional Park's soccer field, and parking on site is free.
